ESAB’s newest CNC Control, the Vision® 55, has the features you need to simplify and streamline your cutting processes for high productivity. This Windows® XP-based controller features an “Open Architecture” design that runs nesting programs, post processors, productivity, production scheduling or remote monitoring software right on the control. A Dual Processor design separates motion and process control from the operator interface to ensure reliable real-time control. The userfriendly interface features an ergonomic design with a color-coded graphical interface, menu-driven operation, online help, remote diagnostics and an eight position joystick. This easy-to-use, highly functional control can be used with all major cutting processes, including plasma, oxyfuel, laser and waterjet cutting.

Vision 55 is powerful enough to control complex processes, such as plasma or oxyfuel beveling, and allows true multitasking to increase productivity. An on-board process database eliminates the guesswork in setting up process parameters, ensuring consistent cut quality every shift, every operator, every time.

The ability to perform Remote Diagnostics allows real-time testing, troubleshooting and diagnostics to reduce machine downtime. The control is equipped with powerful Diagnostic Tools that allow detailed troubleshooting. The control also allows you to monitor the machine’s efficiency with features such as process-on timers and actual cutting time. On-screen timers keep track of cutting time, rapid motion time, and overall processing time.

The reliable Windows XP platform can be easily networked or expanded with standard USB devices.
